I received my PVR 508 unit last week... And got it running in about 20 mins after all the software downloads, and the activation with DISH. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for the great prices and prompt service on my recent purchase of our new Hughes system. My family cannot believe the difference in the quality of the reception, sound and the incredible choices of programing on Directv. Your help in the selection of equipment and hints on "tweaking" etc. have made all the difference. We have been online with Directv exactly one month and wouldn't go back to cable for anything. We installed the system ourselves in just a few hours and saved lots of money doing it. Again, thanks for your help and great prices, we will be back to purchase another receiver soon.
Just wanted to let you know the system arrived in excellent condition. It was installed last Sunday and we were able to obtain an signal strenght of 100%!!! I guess we did something right. I still have to get the disk installed at the camp grounds but I don't think I'll have any problems with that. Thank you for all your help... Thanks for the prompt service! I ordered the Hughes system on Monday, the shipment was on my front door steps on Thursday afternoon! It can't get any faster! Everything I ordered was shipped, no damages. I installed the system on Sunday with no problem; everything is working great. Jason: I wanted you to know you may add my name to your many satisfied customer's list. The day I received the Satellite System (Hughes) I sat down and read the directions first (something I never do). It took 1 hour to read the directions and assemble the dish. 10 minutes to install the base on my roof. 5 minutes to find the satellite with the kit. I was up and running in 15 minutes! I'm always the first to complain when things are going badly, but I also try to acknowledge when things are good. I am truly impressed with the Hughes combo! Hughes seems to be the only receiver that doesn't have this weird "edge" artifact that the others do (repeating horizontal lines between color transitions). The watchword program is probably my favorite of the many features. The Hughes D-VHS VCR is great, too! Thanks for the good advice, Jason Wallace

I Already activated my free month of USSB and really liked their movie channels. I also payed for a full year of their service. I am really happy with the sattelite reception and have not had a bit of problem with my reception (like all my friends who experience rain or snow problems). I had no trouble installing the Dish or finding the Satellite.... It puts Cable TV to SHAME... I have hooked it up to my Stereo system and am really enjoying the music channels... I'll probably never buy any more music again ever.. (Unless I have to have something really special for the car????)
